Get ready to hit the ice and start your hockey journey with the Little Blues Learn to Play program at the McKendree Metro Rec Plex! Designed for first-time players, this program introduces boys and girls to the exciting world of hockey in a fun, safe, and supportive environment.

Duration: 6 weeks

What to Expect

Participants will learn the basics of hockey, including skating, stickhandling, passing, and shooting, all while building confidence and having fun. Each session is led by experienced instructors who are passionate about helping young players develop a love for the game.


Who Can Join?

Boys and girls, ages 4–9, who are new to hockey and ready to give it a try.

No prior skating or hockey experience is required.

What’s Included?

All participants will receive a complete set of hockey equipment to use during the program, making it easy for families to get started.
